PREsS release: Tryouts for the `12/`13 Team will be held August 11th 2012

TravelTeam:

    max# on team is 20

    formal training 3x/wk

        monday, wednesday. friday

    personal climbing 1x/wk

        minimum

    $199/mo. for 9 months

        via one-time paypal subscription.

        (membership & home comp fees included)

        (required USA Climbing fees not included)

Extended season details:

members that qualify for SCS Divisionals can continue                       formal training through SCS Nationals for and additional one-time $199.  A coach will travel with the team for both events.

Then join the Rocks and Ropes Youth Climbing Team!  The team is an after school program focused on turning kids into psyched and dedicated climbers.  The Rocks and Ropes team has made its presence known at Regional and National level competitions for both bouldering and roped climbing.  Join us for another exciting season and achieve a level of skill you did not think possible.


We have two teams:

Training Team:

Leave summer camps behind, step up your climbing ability, and join the Rocks and Ropes Training Team.This team is a preparatory group meeting once a week for those climbers who have aspirations of being on the Travel Team or just taking the steps to becoming a better climber.  This team will focus in depth on learning climbing technique and terminology, as well as the beginnings of strength and mental training. 


Travel Team:

The Travel Team is a demanding and sometimes grueling training group that meets three times a week.  This program is for the climber who has risen through the ranks of the Training Team or has shown the commitment and drive of a motivated climber.  This program focuses on intensive physical and mental training, getting climbers ready for USA Climbing competitions as well as outdoor climbing excursions.
